The prickly pear cactus, also known as the Barbary fig cactus, came to Morocco by way of Mexico in the 1700’s. Since then, the rich soil of Morocco has allowed the cactus to flourish, and the cactus now plays a fundamental role in the lives of many Moroccans. The fruit of the cactus has many known health benefits, and is often eaten in the summer. However, most of the health benefits are found in the fruit’s tiny seeds.

Morning and evening with your daily face care routine, after cleaning your face, drizzle 1-2 drops of prickly pear seed oil onto the tip of your index, rub your two indexes together to warm the oil then gently massage your under eye and eye contour with your fingers until the prickly pear seed oil is fully absorbed. You will soon get rid of your eye bags, dark circles and puffy under eyes.

How to use Prickly Pear Seed Oil on your face?

Use the prickly pear seed oil on your face twice a day. Morning and evening, after cleaning and drying your skin, drizzle 2-3 drops or prickly pear seed oil into the palm of your hand, rub them together to warm up the oil then massage over face and neck until the prickly pear seed oil is absorbed. Your skin will be rejuvenated and glowing.

How to use Prickly Pear Seed Oil on your décolleté?

Apply 2 drops of prickly pear seed oil on the top of your decollete and gently massage the area with your fingers until total absorption. Your skin will become glowing and deewing.

The seeds of prickly per cactus are cold pressed, which means the only force used to extract the oil is gravity. Cold pressed oils retain all their natural aromas and nutritional values because there are no zero additives in the extraction process. Extracting the oil from prickly pear cactus seeds is particularly labor intensive because it takes one ton of seeds to create one liter of oil. This is one of the reasons the prickly pear oil is so rare, desirable and expensive.
